The schools involved were from Penwith SSP, Callington SSP & Penryn SSP.
It was lovely to see a sports hall buzzing with activity all afternoon, with 9 really competitive teams putting everything they had into it!
The points difference between the top 3 schools was only 3 points!
Congratulations to Colin Snook and his team from Godolphin School (from the Helston & Mullion Cluster Primary Group in Penryn SSP), on winning for the 2nd year running! Godolphin closely pipped Mabe School (from the Penryn/Falmouth Cluster Primary group) by just 2 points! In third position were the Nansloe School team, also from the Helston & Mullion cluster Primary Group who were only 1 point behind Mabe.
The festival was run by the excellent Badminton Junior Leaders from Penair School, Truro. They did a fantastic job. Many thanks to Martin Burley, the Schools Sports Co-Ordinator from Penair for his support.
The winners medals & certificates were presented by Jenny Marchant, the Chair of Cornwall Youth Badminton.
Thanks to one and all for supporting this event, now in its 3rd year.
